HIEN - CHARACTER BIO.
-CHARACTER-
He's an assassin(working for Prince Hakei of Kutou), and his mission is to kill the Genbu Seishi and Miko. Basically, he's a baddie.. XD
-PERSONALITY-
He's hot-tempered and easily angered (especially by the seishi 'Uruki', who cheated in their fight and cut off his arm); as well as being very emotional. He is also very loyal, and obeys Shigi and Hakei, even though he doesn't usually agree with them.
At first, his mission to kill the seishi and miko is just seen as a task, but it evolves later on into getting revenge on Uruki. (i.e. stalking him with fervour!! Thank you, Wikipedia. XD)
-PAST-
Hien was the sole survivor of an attack on his village by bandits when he was very young. He had to survive on animal bones (?). Prince Hakei found him and gave him a job on the spot, and Hien has worshiped him ever since.
-RELATIONSHIP WITH SHIGI-
In the army, Hien is Shigi's subordinate, and he always obeys him. They usually have conflicting views, but Hien always grudgingly follows Shigi's orders. Their main argument throughout the first half of the series was how to deal with Taki (The other assassin who was assigned to them by Prince Hakei. Later it turned out that Taki was Uruki in disguise.); Hien wanted to kick him out because he did damn all and was exceptionally annoying and stupid, and Shigi wouldn't go along with it because he was there on Prince Hakei's orders.
Their relationship doesn't develop past work until the 6th book, where they hesitantly talk about their pasts.
-UKE OR SEME?!-
Hien looks very manly and acts in an aggressive manner, so one would assume that he would be Seme. However, his complete loyalty to Shigi would suggest that he has a submissive side. Therefore, he can be both. (More fun! XD)
