Q: What is Shigi x Hien Love?!
A: S/H Love is a Livejournal community dedicated to Shigi and Hien from the Manga 'Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden' by Watase Yuu.
Q: Why was it made?
A: If you look around, you will probably notice that most FYGK characters have a strong fandom. However, Shigi and Hien do not! A group (Well... Two) people who noticed this, and were quite upset by it, decided to get together and make a fanbase for the pair. Since then, the community has grown and has accumalated about 20 members!
Q: Why should I join?
A: If you are a fan of Shigi or Hien, or of the Shigi/Hien pairing, this is the only place where you can get stories, images, fanart etc. As far as we know, there are no other Shigi/Hien fansites.
Q: How do I join?
A: First, register for free on Livejournal (also known as LJ). Once you've set up an account, you'll find that you can post stories/drabbles/art/musings etc etc etc. You can also join livejournal 'communities', which are usually a group of people with similar interests, or interests that they have in common. You can join any community you want. Anyway, once you have set up your LJ account, you should go onto the Shigi x Hien Love page, and click 'join this community'. Joining is moderated, which means that I have to accept you before you can see the contents of the community. However, as long as you're polite, decent etc, there is no reason why I won't accept you!
Q: Is it worth it?
A: Well, I certainly think so. Not only is it home to the only S/H fan works you'll ever see, but it's also a nice wee place to chat and make friends! We're quite a close-knit community, so we do get to know each other a bit.

Q: Can I contribute?
A: Yes please! Not only can you, but we beg you to. Since we're still a small community, I can't say we have as much stuff as the Takiko/Uruki fandom. Therefore, all members are encouraged to write/draw do as they please!!
Q: I'm a little shy about contributing...
A: Don't be. None of us our professional writers, or anywhere near it. We just like to read, write, draw, comment etc! Before the community, a lot of us hadn't written anything. So, trust me. We're not going to chase you up for being an inferior writer/artist, because just the mere fact that you have posted will make us ecstatic! And I personally guarantee that any post you make will have at least three praising comments by the end of the day...
